The issues that bring people to therapy are as varied as the people themselves. If you think counselling is for you we can have an initial brief conversation on the telephone and arrange an initial session. When we meet for the first time we will talk about what brings you to counselling and whether counselling would be helpful for you. This will also be an opportunity for you to ask me questions.
If you decide to continue with counselling we would usually meet weekly. Counselling can be short term, for a few weeks, or longer. If we decide to work together we will agree an initial number of sessions. Each counselling session lasts for 50 minutes.
Currently I am offering sessions online or by telephone during Covid-19
Every individual has something in their life that they need help fully exploring. You may feel like you are stuck in the same patterns, or have a new development in your life that is causing pain or stress.
I offer reduced fee counselling sessions to trainee counsellors.
Long-term relationships require care, attention, and honesty. By communicating in a safe space with a therapist to facilitate the discussion, you and your partner can delve into issues, discover new ways of connecting, and learn healthy, constructive ways to overcome differences.
